This is What I Paid For?

Thirty dollars. I paid $30.00 to a bookstagrammer for her "review". No wonder she didn't tag me in her post. I only found it accidentally when I was scrolling and saw a picture of my book cover with a background that was unfamiliar. And wow, is she a fast reader! I only paid her a week ago, and the book is pretty long. She must have gotten right on it! She also has the magical power of reading it without buying it! (Nope, no Kindle Unlimited pages read, either.) Plus, she's apparently (telepathically) read four other books just this week!

I'm impressed!

The other eerie coincidence is that the review is strikingly similar to my book blurb. I guess we're both on the same wavelength. She didn't, though, mention which parts she liked best or even the parts she didn't like. Kind of disappointing. I would have been fine with constructive criticism, and especially fine to know which sections of the book resonated with her.

I should probably just STFU and appreciate the five stars (that she gives every book). I'm probably asking too much. I mean, read it? How quaint.
