My Website Views Have Flatlined
Two things I've neglected (forgotten) to do lately were check my sales report and take a look at my website analytics. It's just as well. Still no new book sales! (Yay!) Not that I was expecting any, but I wouldn't mind a nice surprise.
As for website visitors, well, see the image above. Funny thing, I've neglected my music blog for months, but I penned a piece yesterday and it's gotten nine visits. Maybe I should just go back to music.
I haven't updated my author site, because I have nothing to add. I could write about my struggles with this novel, but who cares? It's like what I say when artists start spouting political nonsense: Just entertain me! No one wants to know how hard this novel is to write; they just want the finished product (hypothetically ~ no one actually wants it).
I suppose I should try to find something to add to my site, but it sounds like more trouble than it's worth, and new content never really boosted my views anyway. And I sure don't need new scammers.
Right now, everything is frozen ~ my writing, my sales, my website views. It's odd to say, since I've already written most of my novel, but maybe it is time to start pulling away.
