Opinions ~ Everyone Has Them
Ever sit in one of those work meetings where "regular" employees are allowed to chime in with their opinions on the topic at hand? You listen to some of these people and think, WTF? Really? That's what you think? People can be dumb. Or they just love hearing the sound of their own voice. There's a lot of that.
A little secret about these types of meetings, in which
employees are meant to feel they're "part of the process" ~ they aren't.
A decision has already been made; the boss is just looking for buy-in. I
played this corporate management game for almost thirty years; it's
always the same. But I digress.
My point is, whether you could ever relate to someone else's point of view or not, their opinion is valid to them. And if they're not embarrassed to voice it in front of the entire room, then you've got to give them kudos for being audacious.
When opinions differ, general consensus prevails. Thus, since the general consensus of Inn Dreams is that it's good, I'm going with that.
And at last, I'm done talking about it.
