I Take It Back

Having nothing much to do this morning, out of desperation I pulled up my in-progress manuscript. It's good! Aside from changing an occasional word, the story flows really well. I like the characters I added and I like the interactions. I don't know what I was so down about. Maybe it takes a bit of distance to see things clearly.

I was worried about too much setup, but reading it was not distracting, nor boring. Some back story and setup is necessary, after all.

I believe I will approach my next writing day with renewed enthusiasm. I still don't know where the story is going, but the beginning is pretty good.
